In 2009, singer Patti Page recorded a remake of her world-famous classic “How Much Is That Doggie in the Window?” entitled "Do You See That Doggie in the Shelter?"
Because she came to know that most pet stores get their doggies from unethical, cruel puppy mills.

And by changing the lyrics of her song, she hoped to get the world singing about animal shelters instead.
Unfortunately, Patti Page passed away shortly after.
And her remake was never officially released.

Until now.
Together with Patti Page’s songwriter, we created a children’s book and a sing-along video featuring real shelter animals. And worked with schools, libraries, shelters, plus TV partners like Animal Planet and Discovery Kids, to teach the remake with new lyrics to children worldwide.
All so our future generations will choose adoption – because they grew up singing about it – and puppy mills will become a thing of the past.
